It takes forever to drag + drop everything & look through the box to see if you have to stack stuff to save room. Could u please add these three standard features : 1. Shift + double click - to empty all of one resource or take out all of one resource 2. Double click - empty one of one resource or take out one of one resource 3. Drag and drop and select how much you would like to empty/take out And ofc stacking, for example wood, in your inventory with wood that is already in the box with these three features.
Yeah, I agree, especially if I am getting raided, I want to be able to grab all I can and move to a different room before I get gunned down.
Metal boxes would be nice too. With a much longer decay. Say, 30 low grade metal?
I remember there used to be a "Take All" option when looting bodies. I think the reason they don't have that is to add a sense of realistic looting and storing.

The idea seems to be to intentionally make inventory management difficult so that it adds extra risk to the acts of banditry and raiding. Even adding the inventory management features you've suggested would considerably reduce the work involved in looting a base and with it, the risk of being shot while looting. I agree that inventory management is currently a horrendous pain in this game but that's the price you have to pay to slow down raiders I guess.
Metal boxes would be nice too. With a much longer decay. Say, 30 low grade metal?
Metal boxes should take longer to decay, harder to break apart, and be lockable. 30 low grade metal seems high though, I would say 15 would suffice, if it is just a single crate.

And this could also apply to item stacking, like drag the wood over a pistol for example (Anything really) and you have a stack of 190 wood in the box which you're adding 70 wood to, it could fill up the existing stack and put the rest in a new slot.
Has anyone thought of maybe adding a Safe. Takes lots of metal fragments (Hard to craft). Uses some sort of pin code to unlock it and takes 5-10 C4's to blow it open (Chance of items being destroyed). Can hold 100 slots of items. This might mix something up instead of people making stairs next to a wall where the loot room is and blowing up the wall in 2 c4's and taking all the loot with so much ease.
A "Loot All" button is enough.....

I'm usedto the system but a "loot all" or even a shift click to atleast stack wouldn't be gamebreaking.
A "Loot All" button is enough.....
No, loot all makes it easier for raiders.
Definitely don't want to see a 'loot all' button. If you're raiding then there should be risk involved; the risk of the owner of that property spawning in somewhere nearby and taking you out whilst you're looting their stuff.

It's more a matter of making things more difficult for raiders/bandits so that they really require backup to be able to loot your stuff. Perhaps that has some element of realism to it but I honestly don't think that was the primary point behind it. As has been said before, the game actually had a loot all button before and they removed it from the game. I'm guessing they didn't like that one guy could get lucky and take out 3 or 4 others then loot all of their stuff in 5 seconds. I agree the game could use a few functions to make inventory management SLIGHTLY easier but I think it's actually for the best that they don't have things like a loot all button or shift click for quickly moving items.
Understandable, it's just getting them closer to that line that they'll haveto draw sooner or later then though.
True enough, but that's just a part of game design you have to deal with. It's never easy to strike that balance between accessibility and difficulty but it's well worth it when it's done right.
