• Lag is still an issue on Mac

Is anyone still getting a lot of lag on mac or is it just me? Is this problem considered solved by the devs because i haven't gotten any improvement. It is still unplayable for me and it has been for a month.
In all fairness, Macs aren't really built for gaming. It could be because yours has an integrated graphics card, I was having issues with that in the webplayer. How many inches is yours?
Macbook Pro 13-inch 2011 Processor: 2.7 GHz intel core i7 Memory: 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB What is the problem? :/
You have an integrated graphics card. I'm not sure those have been optimized to work with Rust yet. Their failure to run Rust without large amounts of lag could simply be because of the Unity engine itself. I can try Rust on my Mac later, I normally use my PC for it, which has a dedicated graphics card.

That could be entirely possible. As for me, I was unable to run Rust on my Mac from the get go, when I got it a few weeks ago.
I have the old macbook that is just plain white with 2gb of ram and I can now run it ok with decent fps I disabled grass and put graphics options to the lowest and it runs smoother now.
What do you put the resolution at?
You could buy a PC. I hate Mac. Just my personal preference though. I would definitely invest in a PC considering thats where literally ALL the games are at.
That integrated card will never fare well with details such as grass and rocks. Scale your settings back.
