• RUST, Sydney 1 server restarting every 45 minutes

Ever since the last update, the Sydney 1 server restarts every 45 minutes. Regardless of time of day / night. Could you please rectify asap. It is very detrimental to gameplay and it seems that fewer people are now playing on the server. Maybe it's being attacked like a couple other servers before.
it is pretty much a slap in the face to us who have bought the game as facepunch shows no sign of trying to fix this issue or to even let us know what is going on.
For one, they are test servers. They are not meant to be ordinary servers for people to play their primary game. Secondly facepunch is aware of the problem. The problem stems from the local server host, and until they can fix their stuff there's nothing anyone outside of the server provider can do to fix it.

Out of curiosity, if Sydney 1 is a test server, are there any official dedicated servers in Australia? (or are they all test servers?)

The data has been recorded. No formal feedback has been received. So what are the consequential behaviours? Player numbers: Sydney 1 = wk1 Friday & Saturday = 100 players + 20 players waiting in queue for up to 30 minutes Sydney 1 = wk2 Friday & Saturday = 100 players + 7 players waiting in queue for up to 10 minutes Server Restarts begin Sydney 1 = wk3 Friday & Saturday = 20 - 30 players Sydney 2 = wk1 Friday & Saturday = 120 players Sydney 2 = wk2 Friday & Saturday = 110 players Sydney 2 = wk3 Friday & Saturday = 70 - 90 players Sydney 4 = wk1 Friday & Saturday = ? players Sydney 4 = wk2 Friday & Saturday = ? players Sydney 4 = wk3 Friday & Saturday = 70 - 90 players During off peak times 10 - 20 players, about 1/3 of Sydney 2 & 4 Conclusion: many players abandoned the server Player behaviour: I made 4 friends with very regular players (my neighbours) 3 went to play on other servers 1 is now playing another game (a player that puts in 70 hrs a week) What do they say: - It is the helicopter script (we have not seen a helicopter since the trouble started) - Memory leaks - We get no feedback - Facepunch: suck, don't care, want our money, etc etc - Facepunch points the finger at the server provider and does not take accountability for it's outsourced service - Multiplay sucks - I'm leaving the server - The game sucks - Where are all the pvp players? - The clans are gone - Look at all the empty houses - Haven't seen a player or heard shots in hours - The server is dead - I'm bored Conclusion: A lot of negative feelings and in-game chat that is harmful to the brand / game (People believe their own perceptions, whether the are true or not.) Yes, the game is in development. Current Players (Customers since they paid) don't take that into consideration. They play the game now, and judge it by current performance. I love the game and will continue to play it through it's life cycles. Lets hope it retains and grows the player base as the game matures. i think you need to take a walk outside; you seem way too invested in a video game.
Stop posting crash logs. It's a known problem, in the mean time find a community server to play on.
