I was currently playing on this official server throught 2 wipes... yesterday after the update i discover a new map "HAPIS" island.Despite the fact that it's currently bugged with stones ores the dev team say's that it will get wiped once a week for changes... this is good for the developers to fix bugs and make the map great but from the side of the player i am fucked... i have to rebuild a base once a week and also major bugs that break's the game cuz now i cant build or repair stone walls...I was going to transfer on another server but then i thought that all the BP's will be lost so i will have to farm again for BP's before i get my base done... So this is my issue why u dont get the new map on the developers server's and u put it on other server ? at least if u do something like that give us a way out like the BP's are saved for all the official server's... i dont know what to do...
So please for the players on Amsterdam II to VOTE here to change the map back to procedural guys... (The map is good but there will gonna be a wipe once a week i mean WTF ?)

If you can't handle wipes don't play during alpha.
Run your own server and run it how you like. The official servers are for testing, and Hapis Island needs testing.

I think you misunderstand him. It's not about the wipe, we all know that will happen frequently.
I just wanted to play the original game, as the dev team made it, not some modded version. And I did't want a kiddy admin to ban me over a kill he didn't appreciate. So I choose to play on an official server because of that, and because I was expecting a good communication about what's going on it and stability in the configuration.
In this game, players get to know each other, they form communities, armies with lords and vassals. Sometimes it's a single player who manage to lockdown an entire territory, and it's bring him glory and respect, and his name is known and feared by all the others ! Isn't that beautifull ? Isn't that the exact purpose of the game ? I love that concept.
But don't you see ? That is the type of gaming that bind the players to their server. It would breaks my heart to have to leave Enable, MindKiller, Aalke, Nikijs, Yongus, etc... So like Stalker alias Necrodion, I feel trapped. We choose a procedural server, with regular wipes, it was all good and suddenly.. Surprise ! We forced you a new map without notification and your server is unplayable because ores nodes and barrels pop in the ocean !
So don't cast him away like that ! Here is your forum and the perfect place for him to express his legitimate incomprehension, and so it's for mine.
We are the people testing this game on this particular server, and you should have the courtesy to inform us of incoming configuration changes, even if you obviously don't care about what we think.
