Ive been on Rust these last few days when they started selling keys, now there are 200+ people on and the server and it can't handle it. It would be good to have a server in the UK too, even just more servers would be ideal. I'm hoping they have plans for more servers ready to be implemented SOON!
For now its un-playable, however on a positive note, these new changes including models are promising.
I'm sure with the new funding, more serves will be up soon

I agree rapid there should be a server for people in Europe i get over 150ms most of the time making it hard in fire fights.
You're right. That's probably why my game keeps on (basically crashing). They need to make new servers

I also would like to think that, Garry is in the process of setting up a clean and efficient GUI, which might be the reason why we are having to wait :(
The servers are getting way to crowded:
Firstly, we get way too much lag.
Secondly, hordes of nude cavemen keeps killing you 3-6 seconds after re-spawning.
Man, it's like the Reddit boom all over.
Good times.
What needs to happen is the playing area(area where resources spawn) needs to be enlarged so that people spread out more instead of clogging the spawning area.
$27,000 should buy a server or two...
Another issue for the devs was that too many keys were sold today, so im sure they went expecting this too happen so soon
Has it been optimized grapically yet? Last time I played it, I couldn't get 30fps at all at lowest settings

Well it depends on your computer mostly, but yeah I can run it around 30 with high settings.

It is not a server problem or to many players problem. The problem is that resources are not generated across WHOLE MAP. This map is preety big and if players would spread on it game would be fine. There is just way to many players on old area.

Now that Garry makes about 10,000 bucks every day from the games people are buying, there will most likely be more servers up. Now... i dont even own the game YET but im guessing there arent more servers yet so im saying this but if there are already umm yea great! lol
i think gary has just turned off the buy page untill they fix the problem (they sold to many keys due to a bug)

What's the difference in ping between the EU server and any possible UK one? Netherlands is great because it has a good line to the whole world, while UK does not. We're speaking about a 10-30 ping difference depending on the user's internet, and it's barely an advantage. The game runs really smooth even with 150+ ping.
