• Bullet damage nerf or Armor buff?

Recently, I've had more and more instances where I hit someone running away 4-5 times with hv's, and it doesn't down them. Headshots also seem extremely downplayed. My last ragequit on battle royale came from 2 headshots and a bodyshot doing a total 89 damage. I hope this isn't the direction combat is taking. Skill shots are useless to the extent that firing from a distance is just a waste of ammo and concealment. Med spam is more the norm now than it was before there was talk about reducing it. A single pig has 5 syringes worth of fat, and they can be pumped into the blood faster than a single gunman can fire rounds from a bolt action (even if all are hits). It seems to be only in the last patch or two, so I'm not sure if it's a bullet damage nerf or an armor buff but either way, I'm not too sure I like this game feeling like Halo. Anyone and everyone will have meds which means all of combat becomes too reductive, too safe. A headshot should que the shooter into thinking their target is near death, not somewhere below 60%. Once that target finds cover, he will double med spam and in less than 10 seconds be back in the fight at 100%. If this situation were described to me a year ago, it wouldn't even sound like Rust, it would sound like any of the hundreds of games that Rust has managed to escape mirroring.
