I have two lucky finds. Once, I happened to find 2 charges in an airdrop. I didn't yet have even shotguns, so I was in a hurry to research them and use them, since I couldn't protect them. So I ran over to the nearest small base and tossed 2 C4 on the wall, and what did I find? 3 small boxes... Stuffed with 250 stacks of GP, wood, ores, frags. One crate was full of guns, including 1 M4, 1 MP5, 3 Shotguns, and pistol, along with ammo for all of it. Full stacks of ammo.
Another lucky find was in a rad town... Not quite as amazing, but it was free. I was waiting for someone to come meet me to go to my base, so I decided to check for crates. I saw a pair of of silver/yellow crates at one spawn, and though, "Wow, 2 nice BPs...". So I opened them up... First one had an M4, and I nearly jumped and started dancing. Then I found an MP5 in the next one, and just sprinted out, back to base.

I like it, better stuff than what I got on my lucky raid. I know you from DoD, did it happen there?
Spawned into a server with kevlars running about and whatnot, had a group of 4 with me. We were freshspawns.
About 20 mins in, we have a small base with pipeshotguns and whatnot. The 4 of us find a kevlar who runs up to us and asks if we need help. Since our plan was to be a distraction and have our buddy run up from behind and blast him as he was looting our bodies, we kept to it despite the fact he didn't mean harm. He started asking if we needed any food or small amounts of resources and we just tried to keep him there for as long as possible.
Our buddy runs up from behind and blasts him in the back. He suprisingly dropped in 1 blast. We take his shit, enough for most of us to have a small amount of kevlar and at least some sort of high end gun. He returns with his buddies only to get blasted. By the end we have enough sets of kevlar and guns to last us a while.
Found some half built base next to a mountain not far from my "hidden" base, had a couple sleepers in it so stole all their stuff and left. Not long after that while having another wander round I come across the owners of the base, they asked if I was friendly so I was like yeah sure... Stooopid! I made like I was walking away but went up around the mountain to a spot where I could watch them struggle to build a base, they managed to put up a few more walls and a wooden door then they left to gather more resources. So I went down broke their wooden door and replaced it with my own unlocked one and stole all their stuff again. It took a few hours and repeated raids for them to figure out what was going on and them catching me skulking around their entrance until they realised what was happening and left the area. I managed to get a whole arsenal of weapons, massive amounts of resources, C4 and enough building supplies to build myself a new base... Still not sure how these guys managed to get so much stuff but I was definitely happy they did!

Stumbling upon an apparently abandoned base and getting a single Explosive. The second it was added to my inventory everything crumbled from decay and the box the explosive was in broke.
Broke down a wood door on a shelter and found 1 C4, 1 explosive, 250 planks, food, and a P250.
Shelter with metal door: 8 C4, 1 Supply signal, 23 explosives and shitload of grenades.
Stair cased to the top of this dudes tower where he missed one foundation. Saw a furnace sticking out. 15 grenades later (server has no explosives) I got in the loot room.
About 3 boxes of guns, ammo, kev etc. Was epic raid for resources spent.
Well I wouldn't call this "the best find", but I was ultra lucky. About 5 minutes after my favourite server wiped, the first place I went was gas tanks, and there I found an M4 in a wep's crate and a Research Kit in another one. One of the best starts to a server!
I found a house with crates outside.
It was worthless junk, then i scrolled down and found guns, anti rad suit, cooked food, and i couldn't even carry more
A kevlar guy diconnected at the door of my house, with a ton of weapons and explosives.

another time i just started with my friend when we found 2 kevlars in the mountains
Found a massive base, and decided to blow one of the walls on the second floor....scored 6 large storage full of sulfur, metal frags, GP, and animal fat....you know what I made a shit ton of next :) I think it was 2 C4 and I scored enough resources to make like 15-18 more.
Who actually keeps that much shit around lol
One day I was playing in a server that had wiped the day before, and I was just running up in random rocks when I had heard some footsteps. I looked around and found a random naked Crouched hiding in the corner in between two rocks. I pipe shotgunned him in the face and he had like 3 shotguns a m4 , 15 c4, and a bunch of random decent gear! Turns out he was part of a big group of leathers on the server everyone knnew about. Aaaand that's why I kill nakeds.
P.s. It was on Wonderful world of rust, around 80 pop. Probably not spawned
I found a abandoned base that i decided to take as my own, replaced 1 wall and some blown out doors, got my workbench and stuff going all that good stuff. There were empty crates all over and multiple levels to the house, in one corner of the house was a secondary staircase leading up to the roof, i put a door down there so no 1 could get in and The next (rust) day i go around my new base and happen to notice a 5-6 lootstashes under the staircase, it had 9 c4 a couple of m4's 1 bolt and some like 29 explosives and 300 or so wood planks. Best free find ever heh.
