When you run paid cheats and they catch you you get added to a list and then they ban the whole list in what's called a "ban wave". You just got swept away. Now, since there's a .1% chance it's a false positive I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say good luck. If you did cheat I doubt many tears will be shed.
i see but i dont use cheats for any games? even if they checked my kdr or stats they can see im not good at the game.... doesn't make sense? im banned and there is no reason?..... wtf?

EAC doesn't tell you how they caught you either to ensure nobody can try to reverse-engineer their methods to write cheats/scripts that stay undetected longer. We've heard all the possible stories about people being banned for "false" reasons before, and in 99.9% of those cases EAC has always confirmed it was a lie in an attempt to get unbanned. If you want to play rust on a secure server again, pay the $20 for a new copy, format your C: and reinstall the OS, drivers, and rust again to play the game without getting banned.
You will have to sit tight and let an EAC rep decide or not.

I think a macro is in order
well i see what u say there Zonesylvania but there is no reason? like serious? i have 204 hours on the game and iv not even had it 1 month? there is no possible way to detect any hack or whatever on my pc? i dont use them? and this ban makes no sense, maybe you do come across hackers but when im ban for no reason i get called a hacker? thats cool
You'll have to wait for EAC

Some of them, when caught, even said that it was because they wanted to have a level playing field along with all the other hackers (if you cant beat em, join em) but that's not an excuse to use any cheats. In the end, nothing you say is going to matter unless an EAC dev can confirm it was because of a false positive ban, and those are extremely rare. It's easy for you to tell us that you're falsely banned, but we've heard it all before from so many cheaters who've tried the same tactic on Facepunch as well as the EAC forums/Steam forums for Rust/Rust Reddit that it isnt funny any more.
yup i know so they will not tell me why im banned or if something on my pc is being detected or whatever so even if i buy the game again ill just get banned again? i dont wanna buy the game again and get banned.
nah. provided your computer is clean of cheats, you won't get banned. when false bans occur, the EAC team close the error immediately.
nah. provided your computer is clean of cheats, you won't get banned. when false bans occur, the EAC team close the error immediately.
If there's anything of dubious nature on your computer, you still remain at risk of being banned, so the only way to prevent it from happening a second time is to format your main drive partition, and reinstall your OS and drivers. This is EAC's own advice for those wanting to go legit again.
-snip, didn't see OP posted his Steam ID- http://www.steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198175667434 Yup, that's an EAC ban.
-snip, didn't see OP posted his steam ID-
Snip. also didn't see that he posted his steam id.
And then there boost fps programs, boost game program's and so on I've heard they are being classed as hacks by the system Then there's the recommendation to turn anti virus programs off if your computer isn't loading rust - its called an anti virus program for a reason Would be cheaper just having legit admins in every server then legit hacks will be banned
Would be cheaper just having legit admins in every server then legit hacks will be banned
Like there will be enough people to administrate all servers and know what's happening at all times 24/7
Believe what you will since if your young you have no experience with these sorts of things and sadly believe everything you read A few things - People cant play rust and have been advised to disable their anti virus AVG, avira and so on - There goes your anti virus protection which can and has caused people to obtain virus's which can be seen as a hack. I've been in the gaming world for a long time and things have changed a lot, Most of the anti hack programs don't really do much and flag as many false positives as positives and are useless against new hacks created 2-3 days after its updated. PUNKBUSTERS Each update on the anti hack lasts maybe 2-3 days then the new hacks are created its a war that will never end and people have to live with it but some need to stop giving dumb advice like Wipe your hard drive, the EAC will show if it was an actual hack or a virus (if its a virus that all thanks to be told to turning your anti virus programs off since rust doesn't like some) If it is officially a hack then your a moron and it wont matter what you do now - never even take the risk of even testing a hack most always get caught eventually As for the administrator situation well a lot of the official servers are already screwed anyway so pointless talking about them, on that note why the hell is a LONDON server full of nothing but Russians? :) - Some Community ones though have good admins that only ban on real proof but even those admins can't stop the bans when someone gets stuck in a wall, or speeds suddenly due to lag which results in a ban I'll repeat one thing if your positive your innocent and no other family member uses your comp to play rust (like in rust - never trust a family member not to cheat) - Then don't go wiping your hard drive that's just stupid - Simply wait for the reply for the official people and if its not a hack ask then what caused it then you can apply your own fix - If it was a virus you can investigate were it came from so it doesn't happen again, but if it was a simple game bug that banned you then they can find a fix for future updates - but if it was a hack from another person using your comp - your basically screwed
