When I start rust, it loads up to "Loading Menu Background" and then I get this error.
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
R6025 - pure virtual function call
Another box pops up and says
The exception unknown software exception (0x0000015) occurred in the application at location 0x00735354.
I've tried; Uninstalling and re-installing Rust, verifying game cache and updating all windows updates
Please help.

Go into your Steam folder, and then into steamapps\common\rust\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010.
Run DXSETUP.EXE and let it do its thing. Reboot, then try Rust again.
Also, what video card do you have, and what version are your video drivers? (xxx.xx for Nvidia, xx.xx for AMD)
