• Issue uploading skin to Steam Workshop.

Hi. I'm trying to upload a skin to the the Workshop but I'm having issues. Attached are the errors I get when I hit upload. I have scoured forums and other sites but have had no luck. I've tried: - Uninstalling/Reinstalling SDK - Verifying the integrity. - Starting both Steam and Rust SDK in admin mode. - Switching to Unity 5.3.1 (I'm on 5.4.1f) - Moving .dll files - but I move everything back because I'm not sure what is actually happening and that didn't fix it either. - Restarting and doing everything above again. This is my first time using the Steam Workshop/SDK and the skin is nothing fantastic, just something I wanted to see if I could get working before delving in more. Thank you.
That happened to me too. The only thing that helped me was removing unity and the SDK and then installing them both again.
Welp I tried that again. I uninstalled/re-installed all Unity versions and the SDK. Still having the same errors.
Bumping because it's been a couple of days and still having no luck.

did you make the icon preview image?
Yes. Also there are no issues when I click "check for issues". Just when I hit "upload".
wait are you doing upload then its saying on a steam page 'theres been an error'? If yes your skin should actually be there in content
No, this is all Unity-side in the console window. When I click "check for problems" nothing throws an error and that button changes to "Create and Upload." When I click that, it instantly throws the errors in the screenshot. Also, when clicking "Create and Upload" again, it throws a fourth error: "Exception: Tried to Initialize Steamworks twice in one session! Steamworks.SteamAPI.Init() (at Assets/Plugins/Steamworks/Steamworks.NET/Steam.cs:54)" And just to double-check, there is nothing in my Steam Workshop. Honestly, I may just give up on this. Maybe if/when the devs have a chance to focus on the content creation side, they will have fixes. It is Alpha after all. Thanks for the help.
After copying the skin able hammer folder did you rename it like hammer.mine or did you totally rename it to MyHammer? That might be the issue If that's not it - did you watch his video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RT2YOQ9lbKU
Well I figured it out after leaving it be for a while. Ends up re-installing Unity did work *with the inclusion of build supports (like Windows Store .NET/ IL2CPP, and Windows Build support).* I'm not sure what the exact fix or installation package was, but typically when I install a new version of Unity, the work I do is going to be sent as a .upackage or just for testing - so I only install Unity Editor and don't bother with the Unity SDK assistance. Go figure. Anyways thanks. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
