It will be awesome if rust had transportion objects!!
Isn't the player a transportation object?
I mean you can carry items in your inventory and move to point A to point B. You are the object transporting the items from one location to another.
are you just to scared to leave your little shack with your little pistol so you wan't a car so you can drive by all the enemies?
I would love cars but no point with all the bugs, cars now would ruin the game even more then all those C4 beein around...
What's with all the car suggestions for a game where you start with a rock for survival?

I was being facetious in an attempt to garner more attention to your image. I think it worked. :quagmire:

More like you were being a pompous prick by attempting to make the other poster seem like a liar.

I used a smiley.
Clearly was intending to be friendly, even rated his post as so.
You can be cynical if you want though :downs:

Use less emoticon garbage. Use more words.
Don't blame your lack of posting skills on my cynicism.

Words don't convey emotions though.

This is the most false statement I've read in a while. The complete opposite is true.

So then why were emoticons created and implemented? You're just reading letters on a screen, there's no way to tell what the writer is feeling.

You've basically just said that everything in text has no feeling. What do you think author's convey when they write books?

A novel has much more thought and feeling put into it compared to a post on an internet forum.
They also use words to describe their feelings, which I did not. Last time I checked emoticons weren't in books either, but nice try though.

If you can use English to convey feeling in a novel, you can use English to do the same on the internet. Whether it's on a piece of processed wood pulp or in bytes of information makes no difference. There's a reason why emoticons aren't used in books.
I'm not arguing farther than this though, I've wasted too much time trying to drive a point that won't stick with you.

Because books are usually read and not replied to, meaning the repliers don't need to express their feelings?
Much unlike this internet forum, where we have a smileys button to show how we feel
about the post we're reading / replying to?
Just because English can be used to convey feelings, doesn't mean I have to show my feelings/intentions. I was intentionally ambiguous to get replies so it would go to the top, when all of this could have been avoided if I added something to convey the emotion of playfulness, to show that I was joking.
Cars would be horribly overpowered and unfitting
best would be primitive pedel carts
