Are the devs thinking about adding some sort of friend or clan system ? Where you know who your friends are so you don't friendly fire ? It gets really confusing, especially if your in the middle of a major battle (10vs10 people).

Zero chance :) use communication and teamwork. Don't just run in spraying.
actually i heard any third party programs that give an advantage in game are against the rules, which means vent/mumble/ts communication is CHEATING!!!!!!!!
