Why is Garry/his mates not working on fixing a standard damage system???

Hello Garry/Developers!
I wanna keep this short and clean. Why don't u guys work on fixing a Standard Damage System, like RUST legacy had!
When u pvp in rust these days, u never know how much dmg u deal to the enemy u fight agains. U could headshot a naked guy/gear guy with bolt action or ak and he would not die or he could die... same with all the guns/bows u have created in this game.
In legacy i knew how much a headshot/bodyshot with M4/bolt/p250 did...
The PVP in RUST atm is so bad and its getting worse sadly, this is just because of the RNG u guys made in this game...
Its not skilled based anymore, its like more luck then anything else... and i'm not talking for my self!!!
Hope u guys look at this, this is an important issue.

Legacy's PVP was completely different back then. Because well, Helk, garry and the other guys we're pretty much just prototyping in rust legacy. Any gun in Legacy would hit the target if you aimed directly with the ironsight, while currently we have spread from both iron and hip. Rust currently is in Early Access, which makes the game a alpha or proto. I agree Legacy was really skill requiring, however, you must know that currently rust is aiming to fix the problems Legacy had. Don't worry, they might be bad, but they will change.

But yeah Rust really doesent needs skill right now Headshots deal sometimes less damage then bodyhits and sometimes you nuke someone with bolt instantly.
You have no idea what they are working on.
It's not like they can click a button labeled StandardDamageSystemFix.exe
They have a whole dashboard with over a thousand different bugs, glitches, and fixes that need to be addressed.
Is the RL clan still going!? You guys were steam rolling machines!

Guns do need to do more damage, and not just because I suck at KBM controls - Its a gun in a game about survival, it should do some serious work, getting shot in any spot that is unarmored should be massively detrimental to your survival.
I think the new system is a lot better than the hitbox system in legacy rust, The new system is predictable most of the time but it does contain a lot more variables which makes damage calculations on the fly by players near impossible.
Distance, velocity, protection worn by the target, If the bullet has traveled though any other object and where the bullet hit on the body. This system feels more real and bullet travel time and drop rates has added a lot more skill than just the old point and click legacy aim system.
I can't wait to see if they add other variables to the system Wind speed/direction affecting sniper rifles and long range weapons or low power mid range projectiles.
