This error has happened to me a few times here and there. I can't join my own server, but I can join any other server I try.
I decided to try restarting my server last week to see if I could get in after trying several times to log on. I've tried all the "tricks" I've found online, not to mention the Steam trouble shooting page..so, this was the only other thing I could think of. After restarting, I was able to get back into my server and this has happened to me two more times. Restarting the server got me back on. Today, I had a member have the same problem, so I told him I would restart the server to test this. Well, it worked...he tried three times and got the error, but after the restart was able to get back on.
I'm thinking this is server related? I don't know if this has been looked at or not, but I'm just letting everyone know.
