I think it'll make it less op. When someone first joins and they find a blueprint then remember it forever is a bit strange.
and why would you forget after 3 time? You have 3 live like cats? (they have 9 but you know) and when you used every 3 you die really, not just die you really die.

wat?
Anyways, maybe after 1 death. Idk, just its op to remember it permanetly.
That would be good to have. Makes the game a bit more interesting for experienced players.
Only thing that should not require blueprints should be common sense items. Also, how about the ability to teach someone instead of giving them your blueprints?
I'm changing blueprints soon. Instead when you research an item it will destroy the original, and you'll need to repeat this process multiple times before receiving a blueprint for it

That's a lot better!
lol many ppl will say its better cuz they have all of them so just couple of new players who join soon will have to do this what i mean all current players happy because they have researched everything before changes new players long hard road to get everything:P so i do belive there will be reset of blueprints :P
This is a bad way for pvp, But changing the way how to blue prints will be harder to get as helk wrote, it will make this game more intresting and fun.
Naturally the average Joe isn't an engineer so it would make sense that when you reverse-engineer things for the blueprint you would perhaps break a few things in the process.
Props to Helk for this planned change.

Or maybe they are just smart enough to recognize that it makes the game more challenging and therefore better?

i didnt say that i dont support this idea just when it will be implemented there should be reset all blueprints for everyone:)

Hey guys lets make the floor lava
It's a good idea because it makes the game more challenging
Also the m4 needs a buff

That's just retarded.
I don't even understand why hatchets were removed. It's like this game is trying to be developed into being more of a nuissance for someone just starting out than it is for the player to be challenged to develop themselves and being able to craft better items.
Making things challenging is fun, but making them tedious and adding difficulty that adds no inherent value to the game is an annoyance. Unless you're trying to make trade something that happens, making it take multiple items to learn how to develop it would be silly.
