• Crashing on "Self Check"

Hey, I am having problems getting problem when I launch Rust. It starts up just fine, I hit play. It starts up, but as soon as it hits "Running Self Check," it stalls a bit than crashes. I was legit on it just fine a few hrs ago and all the sudden I cannot get in. I have done multiple ways of troubleshooting such as: uninstalling and reinstalling the game/steam. I restarted computer/steam all that good jazz and I am still crashing at the same place over and over. Any thoughts that might be the cause of it? Here are my specs: Windows 10 Evga Geforce 980 ti Cpu i7-5960x cpu @ 300 GHz 2.80 Samsung 850 evo x99 Asus Pro motherboard 4x4 Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4
Is it on the regular game or on the prerelease branch? Did you try it on different servers?
Is it on the regular game or on the prerelease branch? Did you try it on different servers?
It is on the Regular game. The first thing to load is "Running Self Check." [editline]23rd June 2016[/editline] ~Solved~ Virus protection was being a cunt. Put it on exception list and it was still blocking it.
