CheatPunch and Banlist - Rust

So cheatpunch is AMAZING : Auth failed: User is banned by API [ESP/LightHack] - Sgt**** (76561198103240***) But what I don't see is to have the right to Unban them. Bans by CheatPunch don't show up under any of these following commands: global.banlist( ) : List of banned users (sourceds compat) global.banlistex( ) : List of banned users - shows reasons and usernames global.listid( ) : List of banned users, by ID (sourceds compat) Though yes I do NOT want to unban hackers but as a Server Admin I don't like not having the choice, or at least not knowing. Does anyone know?

As an admin you have the ability to unban people who were banned from your server. Cheatpunch bans people from the game entirely...This is why you can not unban them

Hahahaha , fantastic! I think I pissed off several people by restarting my server and catching a few hackers. I did not know it was not isolated to the server. Valve are the ones in control of VAC.

so the bans arent writen in the \serverdata\cfg\bans.cfg right?

The bans would be written somewhere that logs to cheatpunch. You can't + won't be able to probably ever unban them, as then they can just go to a different server. Unless they make it so you can just chose to unban them on yours, which is pointless. Once a hacker, always a hacker.
