Here I summed up some important links that might come out handy when you're new to this forum (or Rust). These links are important in my opinion. Feel free to comment more important links and I will add them to this list.

Rust Development blogs are telling what will be added with the upcoming update. Averagely posted each Thursday. The community updates are more for fun.

I will not mention certain youtubers, but just use the search bar, add "Rust" in your search and find enough good guides!

Another addition; Fortify; download this and you'll be able to make every base design you like! It doesn't cost anything! It has almost every deployable in its database and it even calculates how much resources it would take before you can make the base! A true recommend!

An alternative for Fortify would be Franks Wall Base planner, but 2D design!

This is a website still in development, but it contains a big load of information. How much stuff is needed for items, how much calories are provided with each food item and much more good information!

You know that the chat in-game is sometimes a real drawback. But our beloved caymanroe has written something for this. Go to the website to download a tool that enables you to read everything back in time and it has some extra features as well! (it is for admins)

Another important one is the map website. This one contains the live map of almost every server in the server list. You can use it to navigate to loot towns, your friends or whatever comes up in your mind!

I used it, but it is much harder to use than the Fortify app.

FP should really take a look at the navigation to their forums.
Not saying this can't be navigated by monkey's but I am also not saying these forums and sub forum's are completely "user friendly" either.
