use need to put some pvp server so that the assholes that just want to run arond and ruin othe peoples shit can and the people that want to play the game properly play freely, like i understand its all about survival but theres some pricks that just run around and kill new people just trying to start and ruin the game they have no chance

Rust is pretty harsh and unforgiving when you first start out. There are PvE servers out there that you could learn the game on but really you just need to accept that you will die (a LOT) and try and get better.

There are people out there more than willing to help, unfortunately they're just hard to find due to the amount of 'bandits' in the game. As Clav said the game is unforgiving by nature, I guess it wouldn't be much of a survival game if it wasn't a struggle to survive ^^ Stick with it, it can be one of the harshest games I've ever played but also one of the most rewarding.

Survival means: The law of the strongest. That's an important part of the game so please deal with it. Oh and yes I got owned many times too... sometimes it is frustrating, but if you don't like the thrill of getting killed by stronger players easily I advise you to play farmville on facebook.

I made a little wooden hut and gathered a bit of stuff and when I logged on this morning the hut was gone and all that was there was my empty box on the floor!! (LOL)

Is there any way of making your base indestructible please?

Those shelters don't and aren't intended to last long. It's just something for you to hide in while you collect materials and build the parts for a real house.

You should farm (kill) zombies and look for the metal door blueprint.

Wooden doors are easy to destroy. If you have a metall door they will need C4 and not just a simple Axe and 5 minutes of time.

I needed 3 days of playing until I had the metal door blueprint. I hope my house now gets not raided so often...

Tbh if the whole hut was gone it likely degraded. Buildings do degrade over time, you can repair a building that has started to degrade with materials. If you had the small shed like shelter then that does degrade rather rapidly, I'm not sure if its bugged as there do seem to be conflicting reports about how quickly it has decayed for many.

As far as I know wooden structures despawn after 5 days. NPCs do not attack structures.

Why do you have to be such a condescending prick just because he enjoys PvE servers more?

I haven't seen the PvE server in days and I myself would like it back.
