Hey guys, i really had to share this one:

So ive gotten pretty well setup on a server, and i was really lucky getting started (i managed to get into a 3x3x2 metal house that had no roof, and raid it. as a naked XD) so within 15 minutes of playtime i was at endgame. Kevlar, m4, bolt rifle, explosives. you name it.

So i was storing all this, in a shelter with a wooden door. I decided to make a quick 1x1 with a metal door for just temporary. as i was on early, the server was quite empty, so i managed to farm enough for a 2x2x3 wood house in 2 hours or so.

then it was time for metal for more doors on every floor. so, my farming gear was: Naked, pickaxe, shotgun, 2 small medkits, food and just 4 shells. (been hunting bears)

I was out farming, then running back to the big base (shelter, 1x1 and big house was all right next to eachother). i saw 2 guys in full kevlar checking out my house, so i ran near them, thinking i was naked, maybe they wouldnt shoot and i could ambush them.

They opened fire, 2 m4's i could hear, so i ran for the shelter. knowing they wouldnt waste c4 for a wood door. that would buy me some time.

So as i was in there, i could hear the 1 guy hatcheting at the shelter, but i couldnt see the second guy. i waited for half a minute or so, so they could get comfortable out there. i then decided to go for them, i opened the door, then closed it quickly.

Did this a few times untill he didnt even react to the door (he was hatcheting on the side of the shelter itself). i then opened the door, took out my shotgun, turned the corner, and *Boom* 1 shell away. he didnt even fight back, he just ran. must have hurt him badly.

We turned the corner, saw his friend. *Boom* 2 shell away. m4 bullets fly right by my head, 1 hit me. must have been in the shoulder. *Boom* 3 shells and his friend goes down. i proceed to chase the first guy. *boom* 4 shells away. Damnit.. im out of shells.. he didnt die. gotta have healed.

I proceed to chase him with a hatchet, he notices this. Turns around and starts shooting. i zig-zagged, and only took 1-2 bullets. i managed to plant my hatchet in his back, and then finally his face. then he fell. i stood there... victorious over 2 fully geared kevlars..

Shotgun can really cause damage if you manage to sneak on someone, I remember sneaking on a Kev guy hatching a mutant animal and checking it's loot with a pipe shotgun.
Managed to hit him with 1 shot, reloaded while running crazying around him and then another shot (and he died).

But nope, not close to 2 full kevs :p

U were lucky and intelligent at the same time.

Lucky because if I'm breaking a shelter and I have a partner, one of us will aim straight to the door. BTW I'm always with the finger on the shortcut to Shotty in case u open the door.

Intelligent because you waited to the right moment, prepared the trap, and executed. I believe rust is really heavily based on planning things and not going like a retard shooting at everything that it moves.

Good move mate, I love having people like you in the servers. It adds a TON of fun and planning and emotion to the game.
