This question is mostly aimed at the developers.
I recently purchased a brand new gaming rig and headphones, both on sale. The headphones in question are Plantronics Gamecom 780s, and feature Dolby 7.1 surround sound.
I know for a fact Unity supports this in the Audio settings, but I also know the default setting is just plain old Stereo.
Does Rust support Dolby 7.1, or is it at the default Stereo setting? If it doesn't support it, I think my ears would really appreciate if it could be added (which would take all of five seconds to do)!
Would be a nice addition.
rather than having to play with two speakers right next to your ears.
Same here with a Corsair Vengeance 1500!
What a coincidence, have the same Gamecom headset. They're really good, except it's my second time I've bought them. The first one just broke, really weird. But I didn't want a different headset.

This is the first gaming headset I've bought (previously I just had cheap generic headsets). Compared to what I had before, the sound quality is AMAZING, especially considering I managed to get mine used in "very good" condition for about $40. Not bad.
:O <-- my face when I played Rust with my new headphones. It may not be surround sound (don't quite know yet, need an answer from the devs) but DAMN it sounds good.
