Horses, more animals, character customization, etc.

It'd be pretty cool to be able to ride horses or other animals around, as well as see other animals. Also, character customization would be nice-- a way to make the character more recognizable to others. Also, perhaps make it easier to see names. That'd be great. I have difficulty getting into a position where I can actually see them.
