Rust crashes everytime i go into the server browser please help

I've played rust since legacy and have never had an issue, but for the past week everytime i try to go into the server browser it crashes and gives me a crash report. I can join servers i've played prior to this issue in my recent games tab in the game menu. I can also join friends games and play without having an issue if i join their game from steam. I noticed other players have had this problem and i tried all that was recommended(delete and redownload rust, run a command in cmd, verify game files,ect) but nothing has worked. Anyone know what the problem is?

Just bought Rust last night with my brother, he was able to login fine but mine does the same. Crashes when it gets to the server browser. tried all same, delete and redownload rust, verify game files, etc...

Post your crash log and output log from the most recent crash. The logs will actually explain what's going wrong and there might be troubleshooting that applies specifically to your issue that we can do.

Please post the logs to pastebin.com and then link them here instead of turning the thread into a 200-printed-page wall of log spam.

Okay, so this has been affecting people lately and I haven't seen a single solution for how to get rid of it. I'm not sure if the issue is a flaw in Rust itself, or there's some weird business going on with peoples' machines after the most recent couple of weekly patches.

Please try the following as a start:
- Do your Windows updates
- Make sure your swapfile is not disabled
- Run the following command in a command prompt that has been opened with admin permissions:

sfc /scannow

also, i just tried joining my friend and im in the game, but i cant wake up and ive tried killing myself multiple times, is there a console command?

You might need someone to kill your body, that's an ongoing known issue on servers.

If you can open the console with F1, the command is "kill" (without quotes).

i've tried all the solutions above and my game still crashes when pressing "play" in the menu after it loads a few servers.

Skipcast, ive tried that multiple times and it still wont let me wake up

Wait for the server list to load fully. Give it 10-15 minutes. Then try it and see if things are any different. I strongly doubt they will be, but I have no idea what's causing the kernelbase.dll crashes a few people have been reporting.
