I know this is a long shot but including myself and may other people that have seen this game Rust want to participate within the game but cannot get access to beta keys which is troubling. So I am asking now from this community if you have an extra beta key you don't plan on giving to a friend then could you post them upon this thread so that other people can get into this game as soon as possible. Because with the more people we have the better chance of finding bugs and other problems that the developer can fix on his side with a lot of help from a big community. I'm sorry if this has been done way to many times but I'm just asking and if you want to ask the moderators to shut down this thread I will delete it myself if you all agree upon it. But all I'm asking is for you to give to the people that were not so lucky to get into the alpha or beta. And If you do decide to give someone your beta key either on here or not then at least you have a great mind of giving even to the less fortunate gamer.

I don't have a key either but it's nobody's fault but mine so I'm not gonna burden others by begging for a key.

Agreed. I've been browsing these forums for quite some time now, and I see a lot of posts that are just about begging for keys. People need to read the FAQ before they post.

As of now, I don't believe you can buy a key, no.
Patience is key? You're not being patient by posting a key begging thread. None of you need keys, the Rust developers have decided that their testing audience is big enough and they don't need more people. I guess there needs to be a huge sticky saying "THIS IS A CLOSED ALPHA, NOT A PLACE TO GET BETA KEYS". It's starting to get annoying now.

Well then just ignore the post and I was asking for a key not begging and if I didn't get one I was going to stop -.-
So really you need to kinda think about what you say and the devs might let more people in depending on certain things like server stress testing and maybe see what would happen with large scale fights with lots of animations going on all at once.

Obviously they don't need that yet since they are restricting players coming into the game. If they wanted people to stress test the server, they wouldn't make it require a key.

Actually some times devs do that in their games even with the keys. Like a free play weekend without keys or certain days sometimes they do it. Like with one game called Firefall but they don't test it really anymore but they still use keys since they might still be in beta.

Yes, most developers that use their own servers for their game will stress test their servers, but what you said is exactly what I said, but you are trying to say I'm wrong? wot.

Begging for keys from what I've seen constitutes a ban.
Every time someone asks for a closed alpha key the release of keys for the public beta is pushed back another month. It's true I read it online somewhere.

The issue is that the server was already stressed. It's why there aren't anymore keys.

I agree. You know you can still add suggestions to the game on the forums. and yes unlikely that we will get keys in this stage because of the sudden hype the game has gotten from youtubers....
