Hi...
Apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to post..
Starting with the most recent update, I have not been able to play the game at all. I try to connect to a server and it gets all the way to the final client ready message, and then instantly closes. One time I was able to get a "Game Crashed" message (which generated logs/dump), and it looks like that was sent to the devs when I launched the game again. My friend who was in one of the servers I was trying to connect to said this error came up for me in the chat: "K_EAuthSessionResponseAuthTicketCancelled"
I've tried a handful of things, each time launching the game and it crashing (mostly without a crash dump)
1) Make sure video drive is up to date (I use Geforce Experience and have an 860M)
2) Restart computer, restart steam
3) Verify game files, verify steam is up to date
4) Completely uninstall Rust, restart, Reinstall Rust, Restart
5) Completely uninstall Steam, restart, Reinstall steam, Restart
6) Make sure Windows Firewall is OFF, AV is OFF, DEP is ON
7) Uninstalled M$ OneDrive
No matter what I tried, the game will always crash after the server loading screen.
Any advice is appreciated, or if the devs or anyone want more info from me, please let me know.
Tried more things...
Setting the exe's for RustClient.exe, Rust.exe, and EastAntiCheat to all run as admin (installed EAC as admin), Disable UAC, Disabled PageFile, Forced entire system to use Discrete video, tried running game using DX9.
NOTHING is working. Really could use any assistance here.
FYI I am on Windows 10 64bit, and was able to play prior to the latest update (no other changes since then).
