• Buying Rust Soon, any tips for this pre-noob right here?

So ive saved up my money and im going to buy Rust as soon as the next set of keys are available, which im pretty excited about! So what should a new player do first thing? All I know is that you spawn with a big ass rock and your butt ass nude. I feel like thats one of the best things of the game, is its realism. FrankieOnPCin1080P is the one who first exposed the game to me, through his videos. I figure the first thing I should do is kill some animals and hide from people. Maybe slay a few fellow noobs along my way of surviving in this place. ALSO, is there any maps of the game? And last of all, thanks in advance for reading!
you might want to join the pve server if you want to learn the ropes real quick without other players killing you. or if you just want to jump in feet first and go pvp. try to stay away of other at the very beginning.. food should be your first priority since you spawn in with about 1200 calories.. go for pigs they can be easily killed with your rock. there is no in game map.. but the road is good to use as your map since its one huge circle. build near the road and you will always be able to find your house till you get you bearings in the world.
Are you aware of the VAT 20% Just to warn you.

Also, look at crafting a sleeping bag as early as possible and hiding it somewhere like in a crevice where it'll be hard to spot. Then basically gather as many resources as you can and build up to crafting better tools such as a hatchet and pickaxe. Once you've done that you can start to look at building a shelter or a house :) Wooden doors can be smashed in with a hatchet but metal doors require C4 to break through so look at getting a metal door blueprint as soon as poss. by killing zombies and hoping for the blueprint to drop. I've added you on Steam so if you have any questions I'll do my best to help out. Stay safe and have fun! :)

Not sure what it is but ive got money, I just make myself wait a time before I purchase something so that I don't buy everything on the internet. I would recommend joining http://steamcommunity.com/groups/RustPublic to meet some people to play with and have access to some in-game knowledge.
