Nothing happens anymore when I click Play

Hi, so I was playing Rust without problem for about an hour until it froze, so I restarted my PC. Then when I tried to launch Rust again, it wouldn't do anything, so I verified the integrity of cache, reinstalled it and restarted my PC and still nothing happens anymore when I click on the Play button.

I reinstalled DirectX and .NET Framework and restarted the PC, and it still doesn't work.

Got anything unusual running in the background? I'm not accusing you of hacking, I'm asking if you work with debuggers or something. Someone reported that Rust seems to refuse to launch if certain debuggers (legit programming tools, mind you) are running.

Also, what's the major version of your Nvidia graphics drivers (xxx.xx)?

OK, I've fixed the problem, It turns out that BitDefender has decided to add the program to its exceptions after the program initially crashed, there was no notification or anything.
