So as many know people keep having attachment ideas but im posting this because i notice sometimes you can craft a 5 slot gun but you only have 4 attachments. So my idea for a new attachment is a foregrip. The foregrip will reduce your weapon sway by 50% i request this because of the awful weapon sway on the bolt action which i'm not sure if it was changed or not but if it hasn't this is a nice idea for a attachment. The grip can either be one you can find in the rad-zone boxes or can be crafted with wood and cloth to make a wooden foregrip which is not as good as a real foregrip one that you could loot. Tell me what you think if of this idea.
Here are some examples.

I got some stats and a recipe for it.
Wooden Grip 25% reduced weapon sway, 20% Less recoil on first shot 10% less on each shot after that.
Fore-grip: 50% reduced sway, 40% less recoil on first shot 20% less on each shot after that.
Wooden Grip: 5 wood planks, 20 cloth
Fore-grip: 10 Low Grade metal.
I have a idea for another weapon attachment as well. This attachment is the sling (if you dont know what a sling is i will put a picture below) The sling is crafted with 20 leather it will allow the weapon with the sling attachment on it to be pulled out and ready in half its normal time.

you're proposing attachments for weapons that i think most people, including the devs, are considering placeholders/want to see gone.
so it's unlikely many more attachments of these kinds will come about (lets hope!)

Never said its just for this weapon its for all weapons that can have attachments
well really a foregrip wouldn't apply to anything but a rail type weapon.
i think the sling is interesting though. it should be on all weapons by default. i think it should be visible to all players what you have in your weapons slots.
Noticed. The wooden foregrip is the one i mainly want they are apply-able to all weapons it was used in WW2 on the STEN which had no rails all you need is a thin piece of metal on the weapon (half the time it was the barrel) and you would slide in through. Enless its a shotgun of course then it most likely will not work

well, i've been under the impression that fully auto would be all but cut out of the picture, but if not; the sten's side mounted magazine wasn't really for stabilizing the gun. it was based on the cheap design template and the fact that soldiers could lay lower to shoot (with the mag on the side.)
really, a foregrip doesn't help your aim to stabilize. they are for guns with constant recoil management. so, for example, putting it on a bolt action rifle is simply not practical (since you're resetting to slide the bolt every time you shoot.)
IF somehow fully auto stays in the game (hoping not) i could see the attachment being particular to those weapons for recoil management, but really for even a submachine gun in 9mm it's not a necessary attachment. it would only make sense on an m4.

Full autos will stay in the game just wont be craftable. But thats just what i heard from one of the devs a long while back not sure if that changed but we also dont know if they will added semi auto rifle you can craft that is makeshift so its all in future reference. But im sure or atleast hoping that they dont remove the current weapons and just make them rare finds and uncraftable. But i really just want the foregrip for reduced sway if anything the recoil is fine just the sway on some guns is ugly.
Since they are removing the modern guns including the m4, no point in doing this.

They dont have to make this a full auto weapon thing it can work just as well for semi autos the gun doesnt HAVE to be fully auto you know.

Plus i heard that they are keeping modern guns just as a rare find or airdrop kind of deal and cant be crafted. Correct me if im wrong.
