So when I go to the section where I can browse servers my game crashes and it gives me this error: Oops! The game crashed. The crash report folder named "2016-06_20_221200" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game! Before I played Rust I didn't have this error it started about 2 weeks ago. I really need your help! Any suggestions are appreciated.:smug:
It would be great if you would post the contents of the error log and output log in the crash report folder named "2016-06_20_221200" located in the Rust folder inside your Steam install. Preferably by pasting them to pastebin.com and linking to the pastebins here rather than making this thread 50 printed pages long.
Thank you for your replay. error log: http://pastebin.com/TAZacVXq output log: http://pastebin.com/P7h0Jjqx
KERNELBASE.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module KERNELBASE.dll at 0033:20ac1f28.
This thing again. First things first, make sure your Windows page file has not been disabled. If it has, re-enable it with default settings and reboot your computer. Second, please make sure you've done your Windows updates. These steps won't necessarily fix Rust, but they might and they're good to get out of the way first.
Hello I think I haven't disabled my Windows page file but I'm not sure because I can't find it, I can see swapfile.sys but not pagefile.sys And my Windows version is the latest.
Here's how to access your page file settings (it's up to you as to whether you want to follow the article's advice on modifying the settings away from the Windows-managed default). If your pagefile is set to the default, then I want you to open up a command prompt as admin and run the following command:
sfc /scannow
Okay I did that command prompt thing and it scanned my system it said that it repaird some files and I changed windows page file also but it still gives me that error
Is it the exact same error in the logs? It may be crashing for a different reason now.

I hope you rebooted after making those changes. If so, well, hmm, same error. I don't think it'll fix this error but it's worth making sure it's out of the way. What version are your AMD drivers? (xx.xx)
IT's again , Elixwaffle who has no idea what's he doing lol :smug: (User was permabanned for this post ("Still rude" - postal))

My driver version is 16.200.1025.0
I'm not sure exactly what release that is because AMD's site is a bit annoying (and barely works for me/I can't download drivers from it unless I use IE, but never mind), but the latest release is 16.15.2211. Please update your drivers, then reboot and try Rust again. Lu's been perma'd, nobody needs to talk about him anymore.
Sorry but can you please link the driver download I can't find it.
