Can someone tell me what exactly this allows you to do? Me and a friend are considering renting a server, but really hope there is a way to play with the animal/zombie spawners and up the count a bit, to make it more interesting and fun.

I think you should probably be asking this in the hosting threads, as they would actually know more than anyone since they have access to the server and commands/settings.
