Do server admins for official servers exist? The hacking problem isn't solved so a temporary solution should be implemented. It is not hard to have someone come in during peak hours and sweep all the hackers. There are not that many of them, they just make their presence very vivid as they roam through all of the map.
People reported in the hacker thread are still playing, even though it has been many days from the report. I'm questioning the point of having that thread; is it to direct all the whine into one spot where it won't be read at all?
Nope.
They are basically left out on the wind to get destroyed by hacks.
The only thing they will tell you to do is wait for vac.

Seeing that about 3 out of ever 4 posts in there consist of "some guy got in my house BUT THE DOOR WAS STILL THERE obv he's a hacker", yeah, we're all questioning the point of that thread.

Actually I reported two cheaters I had caught in there, both of them got VAC banned within a few days. Just wait for the next banwave to kick in. Its gonna happen eventually.

...and I never said these guys got banned because of [I]my report[/I], I just said they got banned shortly after I reported, obviously since VAC is gonna get them anyway.

Nah I'm cool, I actually make sense in my posts and contribute creatively now and then.
There are admin tools in the game and I know from a fairly reliable source that some hackers were banned from the game/official servers, so some sort of banning is taking place. Question is what kind of banning is it and why isn't it happening more often? An admin could come online on each server for 20-30 minutes and swipe all the hackers for about a week. Theres only 2-5 people hacking in UK2, pinning them down using the reports thread would be insanely easy using teleportTo (afaik).
A simple solution to a quite large problem.

Game is unplayable, hackers cause you to take maximum fall damage when they get anywhere near you, automatically. Died outside my base, respawned in it, died in it, respawned in 2nd bed, died in it, head a speedhacking guy outside my base.
JUST WAIT FOR VAC. IT WILL BE GOOD. MEANWHILE PLAY AN UNPLAYABLE GAME BECAUSE WE WONT SEND ADMINS ONTO THE SERVER EVEN FOR 30 MINUTES TO DEAL WITH THE CRAP.
