Is this issue going to be fix or even addressed. Alot of people are having this issue and it seems like no one gives a shit. Its not like this is a recent development either, people have been having this issue for a long time. Complete bullshit, I would understand if they would at least mention they know of the issue and are working on it but instead we get nothing. Ill be back everyday to either bump this or create a new topic until there is something done and I have suggested it to everyone I know too, so I hope this board gets slammed with people complaining about this.

That error happens when your computer can't reach the VAC servers. Usually because Steam's down. Unless something on your machine or network is interfering with VAC, this is not something anyone on this forum can do anything about. Also, I highly suggest against stupid bumps or duplicate threads over this issue. Especially since it's not a Rust error but a VAC issue.
So why does this happen only on rust? Anyone other game I play is fine but when I play rust 5mins in and bam, vachcecktimedout. Do you know a way for me to fix this?
See if other things on the net break when playing Rust. Open up a server and then try and watch videos on YouTube or something. If you haven't done it in a year or longer, factory reset your router. They get senile and cranky over time, often, and people have had Rust networking issues disappear immediately by just resetting the router. Are you on a wired or wireless connection?
I am wired. I have not checked if other things work on the internet. I have opened all the ports that steam suggests. I have recently done a fresh install. [editline]7th March 2015[/editline] And also thank you for at least trying to understand and help me. [editline]7th March 2015[/editline] I just tested while playing and the internet seems to be working fine
Worth a scan for malware? IIRC there was a thread a few weeks/month ago with a poster having problems with EAC being blocked. Eventually was found to be caused by malware which his normal antivirus was not detecting
I ran three different antivirus software and got nothing. I have also Installed of a separate partition, windows 10. And it still does it on that too.
