So I play the facepunch New York server and it just wiped last night. I saw someone say in chat they are going to wipe again in only 2 weeks? How do I find information on when facepunch servers are going to wipe?
On what branch are you playing? Because official servers on main wipe on every first thursday of month.
They are only wiping the structures and items, not the blue prints. Playing for the last week allows you a higher chance of obtaining blueprints for quality weapons and practice your base defensive building. It will also allow you to have a bit of fun killing other people who will be constantly running around. Just be careful and don't trust millennials.
They wiped NEW YORK because of it's problems - it was having memory dumps. New York will be wiping again next week.
Wipes are first Thursday of the month or as needed due to server integrity and player experience. If a player needs to load a huge amount of entities like say 100k pumpkin plants in a area it will lag that person and possibly run them out of memory. Effectively making the server unplayable.
same with facepunch frankfurt..so in 1 week another wipe right?
