Hand Cannon and Pipe Shotgun are a lot of fun, but...

The hand cannon and pipe shotgun are really fun weapons, and (for me, at least) actually look like they belong in the game. The unpredictable delay in firing the hand cannon makes it so much fun to use. Gun fights with these weapons would be awesome. What a pity nobody every really uses these guns.

The problem, of course, is how massively outclassed they are by the pistols, MP5, M4, and pump shotgun.

Well, we have the new bolt-action rifle (again, it at least looks home-made), and I've seen the mock-ups for the pistol replacement, which look awesome. I sincerely hope this more primitive weaponry is the direction the game is headed. We've already got no end of FPSs with modern weaponry with endless sights, barrels and other attachments. Rust does not need them to be provide an epic gaming experience.

They should make modern weapons more rare I think, by changing most of the spawns of them to this handmaded looking guns. With it, it would be more fun I think.
