I love farming aspects in Rust. It will get deeper with water consumption etc. But it breaks the immersion when its possible to grow 200 hemp plants on the same spot. 2 small fixes would improve it.
1. Every Hemp plant need a small distance between other hemp plants.
Number one cause a problem. Nobody want to place 100+ hemp seeds with the 1. rule. For this reason there is a 2. Addition.
2. Let us strew the hemp seeds. Its possible to plant seeds easy but you need a bigger field now. Something like a hemp plantation.
It would be nice to have more realistic hemp farms but at the same time dev team has more important issues than dealing with unimersive snoop dog bases

There are tactical reasons too. Large hemp plants would attract raider much more.
Personally I don't raid people's humble abodes for marijuana ( in video games at least )
