Rust will crash when a key is pressed!

Ok so having some trouble for a few days now and tried various solutions but to no avail.

I tried to play rust and nothing happened, steam did not start the game. I rebooted my PC and started rust again, this time it worked however as soon as I joined the server I pressed a key to wake up and my game jammed. I used task manager to close the game and afterwards I was unable to open any of my programs at all. I tried to restart/shutdown my PC and it just hung on the 'Logging off' screen.

1/10 attempts to play the game will work but, 9/10 attempts are either a jamming when I press a key in game or it wont launch at all, forcing me to do manual shutdown.

I have re-installed Rust and verified game cache several times.
I have installed windows updates.
I have verified my windows files.
I tried one fix by going into 'services' and setting Easy Anti-cheat to automatic, this worked one time but the next day I have the same issue again.

PC Specs:
AMD FX-8350
8Gb Ram
Msi Radeon HD7850
Asus M5A97 Evo R2.0
1Tb HDD

After 24hrs gameplay with no trouble I am very frustrated.

Does anyone have this same issue?
Does anyone have any possible solutions?
