I think it'd probably be a good idea for people to discuss and post specific issues they're having on the DEVELOPMENT BRANCH. This will help us solve any issues and balance before we push updates live. So, discuss away. The dev branch was broke yesterday due to compiling issues - but is working again now. I've changed a lot of item stuff so balances might be off, and some things might not work. Feedback & bug reports please. Hi Garry thanks for the communication. I can't seem to study any blueprints at the moment on the dev branch. When I press #study_blueprint nothing happens. Thanks :)
Not sure if fixed yet. But since the patch metal doors stay half open when logging out and back in. You can actually shoot through the gap as well even if on your side the door seems closed. On dev branch we can not gather wood or study BP's

- using of medicals doesn't work (it was medkit in my case) - almost all kinds of harvesting don't work - when you take loot in says that you took medkit in all cases
Quickslot tool belt. food does not work or eat function on any foods consumes item but without benefits same as medi kits etc mentioned above. Edit: Lock placement Guide is big and wrong orientation. All weapon view models are missing and no ADS but still fires apart from the New shotgun and the bow which work fully (fixed)

I'm still getting mid-air spawns with large maps.
RE collecting: stone/rock 10 wood, 17 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) stone hatchet 15 wood, 9 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) hatchet 25 wood, 17 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) salvaged axe 30 wood, 17 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) pick axe 10 wood, 50 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) ice pick 10 wood, 58 ore (max single hit only 1 ore at a time) All tools work on harvesting animals but won't harvest player models.
3rd person torch thing not synced with 1st person. Reproduce: 1)be in 1st person view take your torch in hand, don't light it up 3)go 3rd person view - fully lit torch which is not seen by others being lit(exploit @ night)

Jenkins is messed up again fixes are not being pushed to dev branch ATM. Wait for next steam update. From the twitter updates a few problems have been sorted, but we will have to wait till Jenkins is fixed.

What specs do you have? I have an AMD processor, Nvidia GFX card. Edit:latest update on dev branch seems to have fixed not being able to type into the chat box for now. Still can't see others type though. Oh, and the bug with the sound looping when people talk on the mic I mentioned the other day seems to be gone.

Tried deleting everything in /.config/unity3d/Facepunch* and deleting and reinstalling the game. No change. I tried googling to see if there are any other places unity might be sticking stuff but because there is a shit DE called unity that Ubuntu uses the google results were fucking worthless. Two weeks. 14 days. This really could do with being addressed at some point. [editline]13th February 2015[/editline] I FIXED IT! I went and looked at the folders for Mono in Legacy and normal branch. I noticed that they were different, Legacy has in it etc and x86 whereas the normal one has etc and x86_64. Anyway, I copied the Mono folder over from Legacy to the normal one and it works. Thank fuck for that. Change directory to where Rust is installed, (for me it is /steam_games/SteamApps/common/Rust) and type "cp -R legacy/rust_Data/Mono/ rust_Data/Mono/" After this, chat shows up, server list shows up, crafting/blueprints show up...it all finally works. This fix only works on the dev branch though, not the main branch. Oh wait, as soon as I go from windowed to full screen the same bugs all come back. FML. Just tried that again to confirm, yes. Starting in windowed mode after copying the files over works fine, the second you switch to fullscreen all the bugs come back and switching back to windowed doesn't remove them, you need to restart the game.
