This thread is for server hosts. If you're having a problem with your server, like memory leaks, crashing, freezing or any performance issues.. here is a place to discuss it.
Dev branch and Main branch.
So - any issues??
SaveRestore.InitializeStability() will run even if server.stability is false
So... Latest build of server... Console spamming this message and when spamming - server freezes!

When loading 8k maps it generates but spawns the players way too high.
IF i can get it work then after (like) 15 minutes it is not possible to construct anything (build) exept foundations. (placing lanterns/campfires/items is impossible too)
Same issue for every map above 6k

Garry. I run a 50 player vanilla server through Multiplay. Over all they seem ok so far except two issues.
1. They update the server on their own without warning. Also, their updates have at times been hours behind the steam release.
2. And this has become a huge problem. Memory leaks. They have got to the point where my server is almost unplayable. I wiped this evening and within 3 hours the server was shutting down due to over use of memory. Once the first memory leak spikes it will reset every hour until another wipe is forced. Eventually, they will just shut the server off after about 4 or 5 crashes.
Very frustrating....

You can safely ignore that - it's just for us.

The memory leaks are unexplained right now. I'm putting together some diagnostic tools to find out exactly what's happening.

These warnings are usually triggered when a GC collection occurs in the function. If they only happen now and then they can generally be ignored - we're only really worried when they happen every second etc.
@Garry, this would be a lot easier for all parties if you joined the slack chat by bugs. Jus' sayin....
but I had a fatal crash this morning and posted it all to slack, I'll post here as well for you:
So I woke up this morning to this:

and after I closed the error and closed Rust:

There's a slack chat?
There's a slack chat?
Yes sir. ask bugs, he created it for us...
Server works... 3 restart by me, but this strings go higher and higher...
TimeWarning: BuildingBlock+UpdateSurroundingsQueue took 4.07 seconds (4070ms)
TimeWarning: updateSurroundingsQueue took 4.07 seconds (4072ms)
Server restarts every 30 minutes due to the memory gradually increasing over that time frame. Starts around 150 and increases to 250 in that 30 minutes before the server forces itself to restart. It was running around 100 memory before the last couple updates and was stable.
I can approve this memory leak, it's really high, I got 32 Gigs of ram on my dedicated server, after a day it hits from 2 gigs to ~24.5 Gigs of ram usage.
I want what -autoupdate close my server after a new update are available.
(after saying this for two weeks to facepunch support. work in the update of the Tuesday, but in the update of Thursday and Friday does not work again.)

Got another error message ;

Missing projectileID (609)
Unsupported encoding: 'utf8'
Unhandled impact effect - Generic
Probably nothing but does spam console a fair bit since update.
There's a slack chat?
you should really get onto the slack that bugs has setup, there is a lot more activity on server issues on there compared to this forum.

this happened as well to our Multiplay server -- the same graph issue and memory spikes shutting down the server for running out of memory. I put in a support ticket and they told me it meant our seed was corrupt and I should spawn a new seed. Once I did that it's been running fine so far for the past 5 hours full at 35 slots. AND THEN -- it crashed again twice in a row. And sure enough memory spiked up high on the graph and then the crash. Just like the graph above. Our server is 35 slots. update: server is continuing to crash about every 45 to 60 minutes after the previous crash.
[editline]21st February 2015[/editline]
also, players on our server are reporting no ambient sounds anymore
So... Issue with people join...
Error: "Recieving 0/2" and nothing changes...
I just put a patch out. It should help with the memory leak. A wipe would be a good thing, but it's not needed.

What about this issue?
Error: "Recieving 0/2" and nothing changes...
Is that a server bug or a client bug? Can you join other servers?
Is that a server bug or a client bug? Can you join other servers?
For some server - I can, for anothers can't...
Is that a server bug or a client bug? Can you join other servers?
Like on modded and vanilla, I have tested...
3 times wiped card, but nothing can help... Someone can join without any error, someone can't and game freezes on thid "Recieving 0/2". So in this way I really don't know is this bug of serevr or client, cuz someone can join...
This error from last update, that wiped my server (automatically).
[editline]22nd February 2015[/editline]
I really want you to fix that problem...
I think that problem with RAKNET...
[editline]22nd February 2015[/editline]
Well one more thing:
Screen freezes on recieving, but he connected on server! He can listen bow shots as well.
http://support.facepunchstudios.com/feedback/view/2949-stackoverflowexceptions-server-crash
This is the third time this has happened in the last week or two, and the only solution that worked the previous two time was a wipe. In the servers Log.Exception.txt file I get this:
StackOverflowException: The requested operation caused a stack overflow.
BuildingBlock+Support.Update (Boolean forced)
BuildingBlock.UpdateSupports (Boolean forceUpdate)
BuildingBlock.DistanceFromGround ()
The three lines after the first will be repeated a hundred plus times. When this happens, nobody can connect to the server, and even an rcon login doesn't work (using Rusty). The server also disappears from the list, and shows as offline in things like the Game Tracker banners.
Have included my log file as an attachment.
Receiving data 0/2
when a player attempts to join the servers, on the loading screen it freezes with this "Recieving data 0/2"
some players can join, but after 8 players join, it starts freezing them out with "Recieving data 0/2"
many hosts are having this issue..
even with the latest 2 updates still stuck at receiving 0/2

Thank you! Few hours server working with normal memory count, seems this patch fixed memory leak problem to me, and without wipe.
After this patch periodically in console get this messages:
SV_RPCMessage: moveitem - Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
