Yes, you need to disable your integrated gpu before playing.

Lol. Your video cable is probably not plugged into your GPU.
Right click on My Computer and select Properties. Select the Hardware tab, and click on Device Manager. For Win 7 just click on Device Manager on the left side. Click on the '+' by the picture of a monitor (Display adapters). It should pull up your graphics device (something like Intel Integrated Graphics). Right click on the device for your on-board graphics. Disable it, don't uninstall it; otherwise, this will cause you a world of trouble. Reboot your computer.
Lol. Your video cable is probably not plugged into your GPU.
but i am playing cs go.(at high graphics)
but i am playing cs go.(at high graphics)
So? If you disable the video card your monitor is plugged into, of course your screen will black out. Plug the cable into the correct GPU after disabling your onboard one.
What are you talking about, it's a laptop.
Woulda been nice if he said that.
What worked for me is using the dx11 version i went into the intel graphical card settiang via the desktop. and changed its settings from battery life etc to maximum preformance. so ricght click desktop graphical properties of the intel and then change 3d settings to max preformance.
Woulda been nice if he said that.
M = Mobile, so, 840M = Mobile GTX 840.
