I think at this moment Rust++ is better, but in the future Oxide will be better, because everyone can create plugins..
Rust++ is a mod for Leather. Oxide is a Mod Loader.
They are not the same thing. You are confused.
Yeah I know that BARK but they have same functions btw. I don't think I have to install 2 mods to do door sharing, messages, etc right?
Personally i love rust ++ how ever i would love to be able to run both oxide and rust++ as i'm loving the plugins comming out of the community
I won't say to choose Rust++ because it's better (Even if I am making it haha), Oxide offers good stuff too !
It's your choice, you should check both mods descriptions and features and choose the one that fit your needs.
Ok I decide installing RUST++ and Im very happy with it now :)
Rust ++ is simple just install and your all set. Only reason why I'm not running Oxide right now is well the stuff you have to do to get it working :/ I mean some lua's were drop it in plugins and it works but some didn't. But I am waiting for it in the future maybe i will give it another try later on down the road.
Currently I'm using Rust++.. I do however plan to swap to oxide simply because it's lua and basically anyone can start making plugins for it
While rust++ requires a team to constantly update it, eventually oxide will take over -- and development for it would never really stop unless people started losing interest in rust modding
Oxide team eventually need to update the Oxide base mod aswell :)
But it's your choice im not forcing you to stay with our mod.
I guess I disagree with the idea that there's a shortage of developers who know C#. Just look at minecraft- tons of people learning java just to be able to wrtite mods for it. If anything, the problem is that because of a lot of lies spread about leather by ideal-hosting, all the GSPs have locked down leather so that nobody can develop for it anymore. I'm not sure we can be blamed for the bullshit the oxide team has spread about us, though. :)

Might I ask what "lies" and "bullshit" have been spread?
I'm running OXIDE atm.
As far as I've read, Rust++ doesn't give you as many admin commands (thus making it easier to administrate) as OXIDE does atm. Eventually, I'm planning on changing to Rust Essentials, when they support door share. Why? Because It seems like Rust Essentials has more commands and again... That makes it easier to administrate.

You personally, idunno. I do know that ideal-hosting, as your representative, spent quite a bit of time telling other GSPs that allowing Leather to run user mods put their servers in danger. This has resulted in an environment where users cannot develop their own leather mods.

Oh, and I've also seen you personally claim that Oxide was never charging GSPs to run it, when there was a brief time that you were before the backlash caused you guys to back off of it, which is I suppose a lie, but not about us.

We never charged GSPs. In fact, we made sure that they couldn't charge customers a higher price in order to offer Oxide.

This is stuff I've heard firsthand from GSPs, and I don't mean BMRF. So either everyone's spreading lies about you guys, or you're being dishonest here. I'm glad that you guys eventually made the right decision, though.
EDIT: I suppose it's possible that you are narrowly parsing your words- that you ATTEMPTED to charge GSPs, but never actually did.
Guys Need help here. I'm using the Rust++ like I said and I do like it a lot but:
After I installed the Rust++ in my server, when I ban someone, his name or steam id is not going to bans.cfg... I found that there is a bans.cfg inside myserverdata/cfg. But when I add someone there manually it's not working, I need to restart the server for that to work.
And how do I unban someone inside the game on rcon or something?

It should be;
Make sure your logged into rcon as admin
Type /ban "playername"
or
/unban "playername"
You should also get a message broadcast that you just banned "xxxx"
