So to make an explosives charge, it requires 15 "Explosives" and a flare.
Whats the Explosives, I've played for a long time and not seen anything that says that,

easiest is from the air drop or another player.
get 2-3 ppl together with the aim to get a drop and get explosives... just have to trust them ;)
So, can you research the item, u mean its only from airdrops or players basically, not at all from zombies?
That's right, they're not dropped by zombies.
I wouldn't be suprised if airdrops have the chance to bring a lot of BP's and other gear to the players to instigate warfare & trade :)

Yes, you get it from an airdrop/player and use a research kit on it.
