Running a Rust release server using SteamCMD

I read the instructions on how to run a rust server use steamcmd and started a release one. When I start the server with the exe it all runs fine but when I try to join the game I get errors like CoherentUI could not create vertex shaders and a lot of other CoherentUI errors
Please help
