I play with a group, and have noticed that the flashlight effect for myself will turn of when I press the hotkey, but i still emit light to other players. I have seen the same thing happen to other players. To fix this you must turn of the light, and un-equip, then re-equip your weapon every time. This is not a huge deal, but it is a bug nonetheless that could ruin someones day who thinks there running lights off at night, but they really have the flashlight on.
Same with laser sight. :)
