• A cool suggestion I got!

So I was thinking about it and I have this suggestion, we all hate combat loggers right? So how about we do this: In non sleepers server just give a time limit before the body disappears. Like you go to sleep you exit the game, but your body stays in place for 5 minutes before it disappears. This would be better because no combat-loggers are able to make a run for it.
I actually really like the current implementation of sleepers. I don't think having them disappear after 5 minutes would be beneficial. I am all for implementing further security for bases (like traps and alarms) but I don't see the benefit to changing the current sleeper structure.

I made a house and protected it with ALLLLLL the wood and metal I got, guess what? I died. When I came back I found out that the walls were blown up, doors were missing. And all my stuff were stolen, now let us ask, Why? For the 20 wood I had in order to keep myself worm at night? Or the 11 food I had so I wont die that night from hunger?

Your base simply wasn't secure and or hidden enough. Changing the sleeper system would favor the people who log out with as much as they can, and this change would make that a common practice again. It doesn't allow for emergent gameplay and doesn't make sense in the context of the game.

My house was built next and IN trees, there was no chance of them finding it that easy as even I lost the house sometimes.
