• Asynchronous Communication ideas?

It would be really cool if there was some form of asynchronous communication in rust. This has been mentioned a few times on the forum, but I thought I would ask about the different ways this could be possible. And what way could fit the most with the world. I remember GravyButt (http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1321559&highlight=spray+paint) mentioned a week or so ago, spray paint could be really interesting as you could tag different places. Sign posts are also another obvious alternative, maybe you could stick them into the ground or nail them to walls? Signposts would be useful to label boxes too. Letters or books could also be another method of communication. It would be hilarious if you could craft a postbox that other people could post letters into, but that wouldn't fit the world design one bit. So do you guys have any other ideas? Of course this sort of communication could be abused with racial and homophobic slurs, maybe it isn't a good idea?
we are always going to run into problems like that... nothing is to stop people from talking like that in chat, why not have the signs?! I would really like the signs though. I am in the process of setting up a camp with a bunch of people around the perimeter I would love to say hey we are friendly just state your business or we will shoot... I think it would give some people a good idea of what they are getting themselves into..... Maybe graffiti? we could put on the sides of barricades and buildings? I think it would be a good idea.
It could really start some interesting stories. People could leave signs saying "Move out in two days or we will blow up your house!", some hilarious dialogues could start too. People could even leave tips or lies Dark Souls style. Graffiti also goes well with the style of rust, "The end is near!" and stuff like that.
