Recently my friends and I have played this game alot.... And we have built a enormous house... And had alot of resources.
We had build a maze... So you had to go through alot of metal doors, if you want to reach all of our stuff. But last night all of our stuff was gone, but none of the doors were blown away.
So if the case is that there is possible to hack through walls... Thats must be Priority 1 to fix.. If hackers are able to walk through doors... Are there any tips to keep our stuff safe?

Alright listen bud someone blew off your doors and then replaced them and unlocked them. This makes it so they can leach off your goods without you even knowing. To know if your doors have been replaced hold E (or what ever your use key is) and see if you get the option to change password. If you cant change it someone has replaced your door. So i suggest you move cause your base will be leached off.
No hackers. Just smart people.

They may have blown up the walls and replaced them... more resource efficient than replacing tons of doors
Thing is mate... I allready thought about this.... And i can change the passwords.... So in this case your wrong.. Sorry... So my search for the right answear goes on.
I already "hacked" maybe 5 houses by guessing codes. It takes some time but the rewards can be pretty decent. birth years usually do pretty well (1980 to 2002), so do codes as 6969, 1234, 1212 etc. Just want to say that the chance someone guessed your code isn't impossible :). Depends on what code you used..
Aside from this, are you sure none of your friends used the local chat to disclose the code to someone else, wouldn't be the first time that happened

Thing is tho... We have random numbers on all the doors... and you cant geuss them all... There is 10000 possibilities for each door..... and in our house you would have to go through 9+ doors... Which all have different codes

I was just wondering if doorhack actually existed... I dont care about what you think of my stuff...
im just wondering if doorhack exist.. Because then i can actually quit the game until they fix it :)....
i dont came to whine... I just dont want to rebuild if some 12 year old kid who got some hacker software or whatever can just walk in and take everything we have worked for in the matter of 5 min.
... So please, if anyone knows if doorhack exist or a glitch or something i dont want to know how it is done or w/e i just want to know....

[B]This game is in alpha[/B], you should expect to lose everything at any time from a forced wipe due to patches. All hackers are doing is speeding up the process by being dicks.
If you're playing an alpha and worrying about long-term progression, you're the one with the bigger problem. The faster you come to terms with the fact that you will probably lose everything repeatedly in this stage of development, the happier you'll be.

I agree dany, I understand why you want to know how this happened because I have been there myself. For me a breach of my base have always been explainable in the end (hackers or not) and thats why I kept playing after the first few times until i got hacked too often.
I understand why you want to know how this happened because you want to know whether it is worth to try again. Therefor i disagree with the guys saying to shut up and start over because that is not an answer to your question. I don't know whether a doorcode hack exists, haven't seen it being used anywhere but then again I am not really into that kinda stuff and haven't played for a while now.
Smartest thing to do I guess is just wait a few weeks until they are a bit further with the experimental branch and play that, in the mean time you could play the old rust but just for laughs and not for building an empire. As what i did for a while, just build a 1 by 1 house somewhere in the mountains, just make enough clothes and weapons to create some havok and go for it. If you die just gather some resources and make a new kit. That way you can never lose too much stuff and saves you from more disappointment.

I haven't been playing Rust for months because it just isn't fun at this point; I'm waiting for experimental to get up to speed. I'm playing games that are actually fun, not warring against hackers and raging when I lose everything. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who isn't having fun with the current state of Rust. Games are supposed to be entertaining and fun; if you're not having fun, switch to something else.

Probably not some sort of door hack (don't think that even exists), but there are ways to glitch into walls and doors. Also you might want to make sure the owner of the server didn't install a plugin that makes admins able to access every door (this can also be exploited by hackers).
There also could still be a hack that you can use to noclip inside everything (although I think this was fixed some updates back)

Don't really know, but there was a hacker that opened up all the doors in an admin base (the server in question had this plugin), but I just saw the rage in chat, can't tell for sure they exploited it just assumed so.

Hmm im playing on the official "Germany 1 (Dev)" server... Idk idc it was just really frustrating at the time being... Any tips or tricks to prevent ppl glitching there way into your house? Btw it were sleeping bags everywhere...

First, esp and went straight to your loot room, by passing the maze and blowing up walls on the way to replace them after

third, some hacks have a "no wall" hack that allow them to glitch threw the walls with it.
fourth, one of your teammate sold you out
fifth, one of your teammate was taking the stuff out of the base for someone.
sixth, evil twin brother
seventh, admin abuse
If its a server with sethome or tping, there is a glitch to move through objects with it.

Stop spreading this nonsense so obliviously. There is a glitch in rust right now to where people can get through walls and doors to steal all of your stuff without needing ONE SINGLE c4 OR GRENADE. It's a super lame glitch and I feel for the OP, although I feel like no legit player should be playing on the official servers anymore since it's a hacker's paradise.
