so to fix ore not respawning on my server if have to type "del autospawn/resource/ores" in cosole?
i get this "couldn´t find autospawn/resource/ores" when i do?
is this the way to fix it?
Have you updated your server since the scheduled update that broke ore spawning?
5:24pm EST - Garry just pushed a server update which has the 'del' command actually delete all instances on the specified object (instead of one). The command to run is, "del autospawn/resource/ores"
yes i have. do i need to do any commands?
Are you trying to execute this command via rcon or in the F1 client console?
via f1 console and im not sure what coomand to use
I don't run my own server so I can't personally test it, but I'm pretty sure "del autospawn/resource/ores" is a server console command, not a client-side command like graphics.quality. Run it in your server's console, not from within the game, unless you have rcon set up and know how to send rcon commands from within the client.
well i am the admin on my server. and i do have the rcon setup. but do i need to type in "rcon" before the command? and what are the command i have to type?

If you have owner access in-game, you should be able to type "del autospawn/resource/ores" depending on what you want to delete.
I had to use Rusty for this to work. Would not work in game, despite being owner.
So running that command will fix the spawn issues?
ya i got i working in rusty. :)
It hasnt worked in the server that i play... just fix it omg you cant do a lot of things with that bug

If it's that easy, why don't you tell the devs how to fix the bug?
ok its still not working.. :(
I had to run the command in my server CP ..not from in the game.

Same here. I've been having to manually add ore/sulfur veins around the map.
hey guys.
after reading this forum, i used the command "del autospawn/resource/ores" with Rusty. I got
> del autospawn/resource/ores
Deleted 7080 objects

So i restarted the Server. Waiting for about 10 Min now - Nothing happend. No Ores/Nodes on the map.. is there another fix to this respawn-problem?
Thanks!
i don't know much about this one, but to me "del autospawn/resources/ores" would just erase the current nodes, not neccesarily add new ones. i presume there is another command, or you need to wait for them to spawn naturally.
It doesnt work yet, good job facepunch
It appears that the command doesn't work from the F1 console. It has to be done from the server console directly. Our server owner tried it last night. Didn't work from in game, but worked from RCON.

This command erased all nodes. I took a god mode admin plunge into the ocean to check it out right before it was run, and saw a field of hundreds of nodes just disappear before me. Then they gradually respawned on land over time. Nodes started gradually respawning out in front of my base over the next hour or so.

It is fixed. Seems to work just fine on other servers where it was done properly. Either the server you play on isn't on the latest patch or the command wasn't run from the server console as required.

I tried the command with Rusty, RustAdmin, F1, and control panel console and none are working. Did it give you a message in your console?

I wasn't the one who entered the command, so I don't know. I just know it didn't work from the F1 console. The server owner did it from the server console.
Since he did, I've been regularly checking the ocean floor for nodes and have found none there.
Are you sure your server is up to date with the latest patches?
I got it to work ... sort of. It definitely deletes the rocks, but they just respawn underwater.
Is there a command for the other resources ive tried to use it on trees without the del part, id like to spawn more trees for my map or at least refresh them cheers
