Don't know if this is already suggested but a greatly useful feature would be something like binoculars, which allows you to get a close view of an area from a safe distance. tools allowing more efficient surveying could improve the game drastically in my opinion when you're talking tactical options in engagements and surviving in general. While not blatantly killer and overpowered like a sniper rifle fitted with a high power scope, the binoculars would be solely an observational tool, which can be used to scout out areas, such as fields, or even enemy bases from a safe distance, allowing you to formulate a proper plan before going in. Getting so tired of leaning forward into my monitor holding right mouse with the M4 equipped.
I agree, but they'd be pretty crude and probably only have 2-3x magnification, and would probably have to be researched first.
Snip~
+1 didn't see any other threads for this binoculars would be a great addition, scouting is a must!
I like the idea of surveying equipment for this purpose - Some piece of equipment that you can attach to a foundation so that you can put in the dimensions you are trying to build i.e. 1x1, 3x3 etc, and it will lay the grid down so you can see if all the foundations will fit correctly on the land plot you are looking at. I have had one too many good bases go to waste because that one foundation spot just wont let you place. I feel this piece of equipment could just save a lot of hassel and time to make sure where you are building will fit everything you want.
