Just about every 15 seconds or so, my game will hiccup, causing an audio and visual stutter. This makes the game unplayable, and is quite frustrating.

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Resolution: 1366 x 768
Drivers are up to date.
I noticed this when I had my USB webcam plugged in and it coincided with the lights going off for a split second on the webcam. So I'm guessing it has something to do with it accessing the microphone.

I have a Macbook Pro with very similar HW specs, running Win7 and have the same problem. CPU/GPU does not overheat and I don't have this problem with another games. Also, the hiccups started pretty recently, like 10 days ago and it is not really playable.
Same here with the same problem.
Not sure what the actual issue was, but after moving all of my USB crap around into different slots, and disabling the game's access to my microphone, it fixed the hiccup. Just posting here in case anyone else would like to try this for similar results.
