Good morning, All: We just stood up a new server: Cynical Karma. Please feel free to come visit -- and maybe stay. The server is governed by myself and two friends of mine that I have known for a long time; you will not have any issues with us. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to email us at cynical.karma.rust@gmail.com Thanks! Bill
Hmm, here are a few questions: What is special about your server compared to all those other player-run servers? Are there any rules (Besides the default no hacking/glitching)? If so, what are they? If not, what's different about your server compared to the official server? About how many players are online daily?
The most importat question: do you take advantage of abusing other people ?
Thanks for your questions, xland44 & Nomadd. Our server is brand new so we do not have that many players yet. We had about 6 on last night about an hour or two after the server had been created. We are not interested in imposing any additional rules on the server. You play like Garry intended on playing; No holds barred! We do expect players to treat each other with a general level of respect. You can talk smack without being disrespectful. All three admins are in their late 20's and have been into gaming since middle school. We've seen the effects of poorly run servers and intend on not replicating such an environment; this includes abuse. If you see any of the admins on feel free to drop us a line: arcenite, Gonvik, twax. If you have any other questions feel free to ask! Thanks--Bill
We're also looking to have some community boosting events. I'm thinking on a semi-regular basis (if it works out) if we see that a player is showing particularly exemplarly sportsmanship, we will extend or build new a base for him/her. We're also trying to come up with different contests with similar reward so if anyone has any ideas please feel free to share them. Thanks--Bill
